The Team

Our Sales Team develops & maintains relationships with distribution partners & retails accounts. Ultimately, we are responsible for:

  • Increasing Hammer & Stitch’s sales revenue, productivity & profitability
  • Our retailer’s sales, sales velocity, & productivity
  • Our distributor partners’ sales, productivity, & profitability

The Role

As the Sales Manager, you will develop & execute sales plans in partnership with our internal team that are connected to the brewery calendar & financial plan. You will work closely with distribution partners to drive retail sales with accounts. You will also build & maintain 1:1 relationships with key accounts to make Hammer & Stitch their best / favorite brewery partner.

In this role, you will help to educate distributors on the benefits of the Hammer & Stitch portfolio, sell-in programs to the distributors & retail accounts. And more than anything, you’ll be empowered to think differently / creatively about how we can responsibly achieve our short & long terms goals!

You will be the eyes, ears, nose & mouth of Hammer & Stitch in the marketplace, which means we will depend upon your valuable marketplace insights to drive future decisions as well as ask you to appropriately represent our Brand to the distributors, accounts, & Consumers.

Your performance will be measured by how well you help the H&S team drive consumer & business KPIs. If successful, you will have the opportunity to develop & grow your career as we develop & grow our Brand together.

The Responsibilities

  • Drive Hammer & Stitch’s sales goals by engaging closely with retail accounts & distributor partners.
  • Make regular retail & distributor visits; perform samplings & follow-up correspondence with current & new accounts.
  • Maintain H&S Brand standards in the marketplace in harmony with our Brand guidelines, ethos & values
  • Work with the H&S marketing team to coordinate deliverables to support sales programs.
  • Glean marketplace insights for the broader H&S team (trends, Consumer behavior, opportunities, etc.)
  • Analyze Consumer, retail & distributor intel to inform new sales opportunities

The Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years experience in sales, marketing, influencing, account management or relevant equivalent experience
  • Digitally native, strong desire to innovate
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to lift heavy stuff, like beer cases, kegs & other yummy stuff
  • Must have own transportation, and all the other required legal stuff
  • Ambitious, entrepreneurial, highly organized, team-first attitude
