The Taproom employee is responsible for executing all daily functions of the brewery taproom. The employee will help maintain a positive work environment through open communication, and a customer service oriented attitude. This position will report to the Taproom Manager.
The Taproom Employee will work mostly onsite at the Hammer & Stitch Taproom. Occasionally, the employee will be asked to work and promote the company at industry events.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions in the brewery as well as outside weather conditions. Movement is spent in high-traffic areas while performing various tasks. The position is exposed to background music and low lights for long periods of time.
The physical demands here are represented by those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires the ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours). Requires at times high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, kneel, crouch, climb, balance and squat. Requires the lifting of items up to 60 lbs and maneuver items of up to 150 lbs. Taproom Team Member must possess the ability to move kegs and operate a hand truck. Competitive pay plus tips. Often working weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Hours range from as early as 8am to as late as 12am.
